The role includes paid training, tuition reimbursement, and credentialing support, along with data-driven, evidence-based learning models like SESI’s positive behavioral interventions and support (PBIS) framework, called CASE.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps to uncover each student’s potential.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based learning models and positive behavioral interventions.
• Inspire and empower students through innovative learning approaches, smaller class sizes, and tailored support services.
• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence, and meet individual student needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint when necessary to ensure safety.
• Maintain student documents such as individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth and progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students, including during transitions within the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
