Teacher HS - CTE Sports Medicine (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

Responsibilities

• Manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans and instruct students.
• Evaluate and monitor students' performance to advance student achievement.
• Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

Requirements

• Aztec CTE Health Careers Certificate
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Tucson High Magnet School 6th St. & Euclid

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
