Teacher - Head Start - 10 Month Program

About the role

Responsible for leading educational programs in a Head Start setting, focusing on early childhood development and education.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Head Start standards
  • Provide individualized instruction to students based on their needs
  • Collaborate with families to support student learning at home
  • Maintain accurate records and report progress to program administrators

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain within one year
  • Experience working with children ages 3-5
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Pass a background check and criminal history review

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay

Schedule
