Teacher - General Science (SEI Endorsement Required) [0.7 FTE Part time](SY26-27)

Responsibilities

• Teach General Science in an SEI setting
• Create an interdisciplinary course of study that incorporates state curricular frameworks
• Implement district learning goals and objectives using the appropriate curriculum
• Administer district mid-year and end-of-year assessments

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor's degree, Massachusetts Teaching License in General Science
• Preferred Experience: Teaching in urban schools, SEI Endorsement, dual certification in ESL, degree in a relevant science field, Moderate Disabilities certification, English as a Second Language certification

Schedule

The start and end times of BPS schools vary, as do the lengths of the school day. Some BPS schools have a longer school day through the "Schedule A" Expanded Learning Time (ELT) agreement.
