About the role

This position is located at Highlands Elementary.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in accordance with the Florida State Standards.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members.
• Maintain classroom discipline and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Education or related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Basic computer skills (ability to use email).
• Eligibility for a Florida Teacher's Certification in Elementary Education.
• A passing score on the Florida Elementary Exam or a HOUSSE Plan preferred.

Qualifications

• FL DOE Elementary Education K-6 certification (or statement of eligibility) is required.
