Teacher ESL

Qualifications

• Hold a New Jersey Bilingual/Bicultural (Spanish) and an English as a Second Language Certification
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in providing ESL and Bilingual instruction to students
• Knowledge of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, and classroom management
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, orally and in writing. Use proper grammar and vocabulary with students, staff, administration, and the community
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
• Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications
• Must be computer literate
• Highly motivated result-driven educator
