About the role

The position is for a Principal at Yulee High School for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the educational program and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement and school climate.
• Maintain open communication with staff, students, and parents regarding school policies and initiatives.
• Manage the budget and allocate resources effectively to support school operations.
• Ensure all safety protocols are in place and enforced.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of five years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• A master's degree in education or related field preferred.
• Florida Educators Certificate in ESE (K-12).

• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
• Experience in managing a large school district or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position, 10-month contract.
