About the District

Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) serves over 15,000 TK-12 students, in addition to students in Preschool through Adult School. Requirements

• A California Single Subject Teaching Credential is required.
• At least one of the following authorizations to teach English Learners:
  • CLAD
  • BCLAD
  • AB2913 training (formerly SB395 or SB1969)
  • SB2042 EL Authorization
• Applicants must have a valid credential by the first day of the school year; 30-day Substitute Credentials are not valid for contracted positions.
