About the role

Teaches appropriate grade level standards based curriculum in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies and Personal Development to diverse elementary students, following District Literacy Program and Everyday Math or other school/District approved curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement.
• Maintains classroom discipline and monitors, supervises, coordinates, and enforces rule of conduct and behavior of assigned students and reinforces positive student behaviors in accordance with school and District policy.
