Teacher (Educator) - Special Education School

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Current CT teaching certification (065) in Special Ed and/or specific curriculum area.
• Experience in similar setting preferred.
• DMV requirements for transporting students to and from activities and/or to and from school may be required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding child development.

Requirements

Serves as student advisor. Works with interdisciplinary team to develop curriculum, manage the milieu and communicate in the psycho-educational environment. Reports to the principal/assistant principal.
