Teacher - CTE (2026-2027 school year)
About the role
CTE is centered on the development and equipping of students for postsecondary success. CTE teachers are responsible for empowering and equipping every student with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to be successful in their future academic and/or career endeavors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and a valid Texas Educator Certificate or equivalent are required. Student teaching, approved internship, or relevant industry experience, as well as experience using a variety of technology platforms, are also necessary.

Major Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned
- Prepare lessons that reflect accommodation for individual student differences
- Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media, consistent with the needs and capabilities of the student groups involved
- Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods in accordance with district requirements
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include instructional management, student growth and development, school and organization climate, school and organization improvement, personnel management, administration and fiscal/facilities management, school and community relations, and professional growth and development.

Occasionally required to travel to facilities within the district. May be required to work after school and weekends.
