Teacher Associate (FT, PT)

About the role

Provides individualized instruction and a comprehensive education program for students. Assists the teacher in providing recommended protocols and techniques to support a comprehensive education program for students.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates instructional and therapeutic interventions for students between the ages of 5-21 with complex conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder and other medical comorbidities.
• Designs and supports individualized daily routines designed by teachers and clinicians to meet the sensory, behavioral, and cognitive challenges the students present with.
• Assists with personal care, meal preparation, and other reasonably related duties as assigned by the teacher.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and other medical comorbidities.

$17.50 - $27.81 per hour
