Teacher Assistant-Video Production Program

General Function

Under the supervision of the principal, or other supervisor, the teacher assistant assists the teacher with the conduct of a class. The assistance takes a variety of forms, such as preparing class materials, correcting and recording assignments, and a wide variety of other services.

Qualification/Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience.
• The equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree; or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional Test.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Secretarial/clerical skills, including ability to operate a computer may be required.

Notes

This position supports the Video Production Program at the Davis Catalyst Center. Will focus on assisting in all aspects of production, student project oversight, and working with industry partners to ensure high levels of production.

Employment Information

Salary Grade 3 $17.24 per hour (2026-27 Support Salary Table) (Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase for a promotion)
