High School graduate or equivalent.
Training and Experience
- Six (6) months experience or education or credentials that are considered equivalent.
- CPR certification must be completed within the first three (3) months of employment.
- Ten (10) hours of educational in-service training must be completed annually.
Job Knowledge
- Knowledge of the developmental growing stages of children including potty training and or changing a wet or soiled diaper.
- Knowledge of setting up a desired program to meet the needs of children; creating a daily lesson plan concurrent with different learning styles.
- Ability to communicate with parents, co-workers, medical staff through oral and written communication.
- Ability to accept direction, adhere to policies and procedures, work as a team player, and to react calmly and effectively in an emergency and stressful situation.
