About the role

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a nurturing Montessori environment, supporting children’s exploration, growth, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity
• Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• A genuine love of children
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children
• An understanding of health and safety guidelines
• Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Schedule

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 1:00pm OR 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Pay

$16.00 per hour
