We're seeking a dedicated and caring Teacher Assistant/Floater to join our team. As a key member of our childcare center, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young students. Monday through Friday flexible between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Help foster a supportive and inclusive environment for our children by actively engaging in classroom activities and promoting their participation.
• Take ownership of maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom, ensuring our young learners have everything they need to thrive.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions and progress updates, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Model good hygiene and self-help habits to promote healthy behaviors among our students.
• Ensure a smooth transition from home to child care center by providing a warm welcome and a sense of belonging for our children.
• Foster a culture of compliance by adhering to all center policies and state regulations.
• Commit to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and continuously improving your skills to provide the best possible care for our children.
• Be prepared to adapt to changing circumstances and relocate within the center as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a childcare facility setting.
• Will work with children between 6 weeks to 12 years old
• Required High school diploma or equivalent
