Teacher Assistant - Eliot Pearson Children's School

What You'll Do

• Supports high quality, inclusive education and care for children in a preschool through first grade classroom.
• Facilitates teaching and learning opportunities for children and families at the school and ensures their health and safety.
• Sets up and cleans up the classroom.
• Supports Head Teachers in working with children 4-6 years old.
• Fulfills a state required teacher-child ratio at the school.
• Assists teachers in curriculum planning and delivery.
• Assists teachers in conducting ongoing observation and assessment of children’s learning.
• Assists with classroom management.
• Works with children who have special needs and receive special services.
• Works with families.

What We're Looking For

• Basic Requirements: Knowledge and experience typically acquired by: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge and experience typically acquired by an Associates’ Degree and several years related experience.
• Salary Range: Minimum $19.35, Midpoint $22.60, Maximum $25.90.
