About the role
We are a fast-paced and high-demand non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.
Responsibilities
- Assist teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff
- Implement active supervision strategies
- Assist children with individual education plans
- Assist in lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom
- Implement screenings and assessments
- Data entry
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire (required)
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Experience working with young children (required)
- 2+ Years of experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Experience working with at-risk population and/or Head Start experience (preferred)

Schedule
37.5 hours per week, partial year position (approx. 43 weeks)
