About the role

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Teacher Assistant to support instruction and classroom activities in either our Kindergarten or First Grade classroom.

Responsibilities

• Aid the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson preparation.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Support students during literacy, math, and enrichment activities.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining learning centers.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other school activities.
• Encourage positive behavior and model Christian values.
• Assist students with age-appropriate social and emotional development.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students in developing independence, responsibility, and respect for others.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student and family information.
• Participate in school events and activities as requested.
• Uphold and promote the mission and values of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.

Requirements

• Must complete a Level II background screening.
