Responsibilities We are currently looking for a Teacher Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. Located southwest of downtown Nashville, off I-65 at the Wedgewood exit, away from the congestion of downtown Nashville, our team of over 130 high-quality employees describe working here as family oriented, therapeutic, value clarifying The Teacher Assistant will assist assigned teachers in the supervision and instruction of students, performing classroom clerical tasks, and assisting students by meeting special health care needs and developing students’ daily living and behavioral skills. Job Duties/Responsibilities Under the supervision of the teacher, assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans Provide behavior support to the teacher.Performs record keeping and clerical functions. Assist with positive rewardsMaintains student records including student point sheets/grades when substituting or assisting.Assist teachers with implementation of lesson plans.
