About the role

Teacher Apprentice positions are available at the Lowell Community Charter Public School serving K-8 grade students.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced teachers to support student learning
• Lead instruction and take over classes for periods of time
• Engage with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Requirements

• Working towards MA State certification with appropriate endorsements
• Successful and recent experience working in a school setting
• Holds or is approaching a Bachelor's degree
• Second language or language acquisition background preferred
• Experience working with students from diverse socioeconomic statuses (SES) and cultural backgrounds preferred

Qualifications

• Aspiring teacher committed to the education profession
• Close to achieving a degree and a teaching position
