Teacher Aides – Woodmere

About the role

HASC, a leader in special education, is seeking Teacher Aides for its Early Learning Program in Woodmere. The position offers an immediate hire opportunity from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs
• Assist with daily routines and activities
• Participate in curriculum development and implementation
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members

Requirements

• Appropriate teaching certification preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Knowledge of special education curricula and techniques

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
