Teacher Aide
About the role
Aid in the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Supervise and engage young children.
Support daily classroom routines and transitions.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean learning environment.
Partner and communicate with families.
Observe and document children’s interests and progress.
Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and administrators.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Work towards a CDA credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
- Strong desire to work with young children and their families.
- Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development in early childhood, such as internal CLC training and OEC courses.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer literacy.
