About the role

Volunteers are needed to teach tennis to kids with autism in Honolulu, HI.

Responsibilities

• Receive training
• Pair with a participant to help them through tennis lessons
• Use various drills and games to help participants learn the game
• Help participants develop socializing, fine & gross motor, and fitness skills
• Encourage participants to gain an interest in fitness
• Form a bond and friendship with participants over the course of the session

Requirements

No prior tennis experience is necessary.

Qualifications

Positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn and adapt to different teaching methods.
