About the role

English 1 is hiring entry-level and experienced English teachers to join schools across China. Whether you're a recent graduate exploring a first career move, a professional making a career change into education, or a certified ESL/TEFL/CELTA teacher looking for your next contract, this role is built to support you from day one.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to learners aged 3–16 in fun, interactive classrooms
• Deliver lessons using our award-winning curriculum and digital tools
• Help students build real confidence and fluency
• Join school events and cultural exchange programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any subject
• Valid passport and clean background check
• A genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA is a plus, not required—we'll sponsor it if you don’t have one
