Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level customers to foster long-term partnerships, drive sales conversations, and offer continuous improvement strategies.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.
- Engage leads to cultivate new business opportunities, assessing potential and securing discovery calls with key decision-makers.
- Drive prospects through the sales pipeline by strategically qualifying high-value leads, conducting impactful sales presentations, and proactively overcoming objections to accelerate conversion and revenue growth.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, market opportunities, and competitor activities to demonstrate credibility and identify new opportunities.
- Pursue new opportunities and projects with the aim of securing long-term strategic partnerships.
- Lead negotiations of terms and close new sales deals to meet revenue targets and objectives.
- Participate in the onboarding process for new customers to ensure a seamless transition and successful implementation of our products or services.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of food logistics and market trends.
- Deep understanding of rate structures and customer pricing.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with executive levels of management.
- Ability to make effective, managed-services sales presentations to executive-level leaders.
- Ability to deal effectively with pressure, recover from setbacks, and maintain persistence to achieve targeted sales goals.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to travel as required by the company.
Qualifications
- Long-term track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience in sales, marketing, business, supply chain, or a related field.
