This position reports to the Ellis Bus Repair Facility on a daily basis.
About the role
- Establish program goals and objectives.
- Develop program guidelines, policies and procedures, schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals.
- Evaluate program activities and budget requests.
- Supervise others.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in automotive repair or five years experience in any production or manufacturing operation.
- One year experience in the supervision of employees or inmates.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of quality control standards to maintain satisfactory levels of production.
- Knowledge of production and workflow procedures to include various routine and complex technical metal fabrication operations and equipment.
- Knowledge of federal and state specifications pertaining to public school buses and safety requirements relating to bus bodies.
- Great communication skills and ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly to staff, administration, officials, agencies, organizations and the public.
- Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures along with problem-solving techniques.
- Skill to coordinate and supervise various manufacturing production lines simultaneously.
