About the role

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Texas Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Orthopedic Sports Surgeon for the North Austin campus. This position offers the opportunity to join one of the nation's top-ranked pediatric orthopedic programs. The surgeon will provide the full spectrum of pediatric orthopedic surgery care, participate in call, and contribute to the education programs of the Department in coordination with the Chief of the Division of Orthopedic Surgery.

This role is based at Texas Children's Hospital's North Austin campus, which includes a 52-bed, 365,000-square-foot inpatient hospital and an adjacent 170,000-square-foot outpatient facility offering a full suite of specialties and subspecialties. The Austin campus extends Texas Children's mission to a large and growing population, delivering regionally coordinated care and complementing services offered at the Texas Medical Center campus in Houston.

Requirements

  • M.D. degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME Orthopedic Surgery Residency
  • Successful completion of a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery fellowship
  • Successful completion of a Sports Medicine Fellowship
  • Board certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
