TB Cushion Filler

Location: Arhaus Upholstery, Conover, NC. Department: Staging. Reports to: Staging Supervisor. Supervision received: minimum; supervision exercised: none; direct reports: none.

About the role

Fill and regulate cushions and backs into covers efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Use a machine to fill cushions into covers.
• Use hands to fill cushions into covers.
• Move dollies of cushions.
• Other duties as requested by manager.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.
• Less than high school education required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for extended periods, up to 9 hours.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to read a work ticket in English.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
• Must be able to perform and meet established goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE (safety glasses, closed-toe/closed-heel shoes).
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Working conditions

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; overtime as needed.
