As a Tax and Treasury Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax laws and managing treasury operations to support the company's financial health and growth objectives.

• Tax Management:
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including income, sales/use, property, and other business taxes.
• Cook and Boardman Group tax strategy, planning, and reporting to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Manage audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
• Treasury Management:
• Daily cash positioning, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management.
• Short-term investments, credit facilities, and debt compliance, when applicable.
• Establish and maintain strong banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms when needed.
• Implement and maintain treasury controls and processes to mitigate financial risk.
• Evaluate and recommend opportunities to improve working capital efficiency.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
• Partner with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely tax and treasury reporting.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Support M&A activities by performing tax due diligence and treasury integration planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate tax, treasury, or a related finance role.
• Experience in multi-state tax compliance and planning required.
• Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws and treasury operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
