Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required.
  • 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on not-for-profit taxation required.
  • Active CPA license, EA certification, or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Experience working with large exempt organizations.
  • Experience reviewing complex returns and supervising staff.
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and regulations impacting exempt organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively manage workload and deadlines across multiple client engagements.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and tax research platforms (e.g., CCH, BNA, RIA); Knowledge of ProSystems FX preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $95,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
