Job Duties
- Deliver accurate and timely client tax information.
- Prepare complex returns with little supervision.
- Aid in supervising and training staff.
- Maintain meeting all client service and compliance deadlines.
- Provide tax expertise to address client needs.
- Maintain current and increase knowledge of subject matter: Federal and state tax laws, regulatory and compliance requirements, and tax planning techniques.
- Take personal responsibility for career development.
- Work with other department staff to provide seamless client service.
Qualifications/Desired Skills
- At least 5 years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax.
- Able to work in a multi-task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results.
- Strong working knowledge of fiduciary tax return preparation and processing in a high volume environment.
- Exercises sound judgment in decision-making, taking into consideration managing risk and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated oral, written and presentation communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required.
