Tax Summer Intern
About the role
Assist with the upkeep, testing, and documentation of tax technology applications, databases, and reporting tools. Support data validation, data uploads, and reconciliation processes used in tax provision and compliance workflows. Review workpapers and source data used in federal and state income tax compliance processes. Assist with maintaining tax process documentation, internal controls, and audit support materials.
Qualifications
- Actively completing graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related program.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
- College level – Sophomore, Junior or Senior student with graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Interest in corporate income tax and technology preferred.
- Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
- Team player who collaborates effectively.
- Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Work Arrangement
The program dates are June 2, 2027 – August 6, 2027. This position is classified as a hybrid position. You will work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home. This position is located in White Plains, NY. Relocation and housing assistance is not provided for this role.
Pay
For individuals assigned to or hired to work in White Plains, NY, the hourly rate is $26 as of the time of posting. The breadth in the range exists to accommodate students in specialized programs such as actuarial candidates and graduate students. Any actual rate offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, along with the education & qualifications of the candidate. The above range may be modified in the future. Intern position is eligible for select Arch benefits.
