Tax Senior (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, ensuring the delivery of quality tax solutions for clients.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and their owners.
• Utilize CCH to research and consult on various tax matters, and respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries as needed.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate excellent team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or actively pursuing licensure.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Extensive experience with complex pass-through entities and their high-net-worth owners.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax professionals.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
