Tax Senior Manager / Principal

About the role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in tax management, with a proven track record of managing complex tax issues and providing strategic advice to clients. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the tax operations of a client portfolio, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, including preparation and review of tax returns and analysis of tax implications of business transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure alignment on tax strategies and to provide timely and accurate tax information to clients.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience in a similar role within a professional services firm.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
