About the Role

We are seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our team in our Wayne, PA office, anticipated to open in September 2026. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of three days per week onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement teams and oversee the performance, development, and utilization of Managers, Seniors, Associates, and Staff Accountants
  • Manage key client relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and provide strategic tax planning guidance
  • Review engagement economics, monitor profitability, and ensure effective resource allocation across multiple engagements
  • Evaluate significant tax risks, technical matters, and quality control considerations while providing guidance on complex issues
  • Drive the development and implementation of tax strategies to address client needs and emerging regulatory changes
  • Mentor and coach professional staff while supporting recruiting, retention, and talent development initiatives
  • Contribute to practice growth through business development activities, networking, market visibility, and identifying additional service opportunities for clients
  • Develop technical expertise and thought leadership through training, industry involvement, speaking engagements, and research initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review, and supervisory experience
  • CPA license is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, tax software, ProSystems Engagement, and CCH Axcess
  • Industry experience in construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, or financial services is desired but not required
  • Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns
  • Ability to conduct detailed review of various tax returns
  • Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • High level of professionalism and demonstrated respect for others
