Tax Senior Manager - Estate, Trust, Gift, High-Net Worth

About the role

SC&H Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Tax Manager with significant experience in tax compliance, estate, trust, gift, and high net worth 1040 returns.

Responsibilities

• Significant exposure to the tax compliance process
• Understanding of a broad range of general tax issues
• Preparation of tax returns
• Effective communication with clients, peers, and SC&H professionals at all levels
• Extensive experience preparing and reviewing estate, trust, gift and high net worth (1040's) tax returns
• Excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills
• CPA or EA certification required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field
• Minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience in the Tax practice (Big 4, national or large regional firm experience preferred)
• The ability to be on-site at one of the following offices 2 days a week: Hunt Valley, MD (Headquarters), Columbia, MD, Tysons Corner, VA

• The ability to recognize and actively seek on-the-job learning to understand role and responsibilities
• The ability to think independently

Pay

The expected annual base salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 with additional bonuses available.
