Tax Senior Manager - Construction

We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our team in any of the following office locations: Jericho, NY; New York, NY; White Plains, NY; Park Ridge, NJ; Chelmsford, MA; Needham, MA; Palm Beach, FL or remotely anywhere in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Directing Tax Seniors, Semi Seniors, and Associates and staff accountants
- Ensuring that assignments are accomplished within the budgeted time
- Interacting with clients to discuss issues with regard to tax information throughout the year
- Developing technical knowledge through participation in organization meetings, training programs, attending industry events and participation in research activities
- Identifying any risk management issues and proposing potential solutions through various research and collaboration
- Conducting research and drawing conclusions in order to face target issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience
- Construction Tax experience required
- CPA license is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Tax software, ProSystems and CCH
- Must be technically proficient in corporate, international, federal and state and local tax, as well as have a solid background in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, C Corps, partnerships and individual/ trusts
- Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns
- Able to manage staff on multiple engagements

Pay
Salary ranges are provided to offer transparency and may vary depending on final candidate qualifications and local market conditions. Please find compensation information below for candidates residing in the states below.
- New York ranges are from $150,000 – $200,000.
- Massachusetts ranges are from $150,000 – $200,000.
- Washington DC ranges are from $150,000 – $200,000.
- Colorado ranges are from $150,000 – $200,000.
- New Jersey ranges are from $150,000 – $200,000.
