About the role
The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for most of the tax services within an engagement, including managing multiple engagements simultaneously, building and maintaining client relationships, and handling billing and collection. This role provides leadership, direction, and coordination of resources and personnel to ensure client satisfaction in the planning and execution of tax engagements. The Tax Senior Manager also plays a key role in the development, coaching, and supervision of subordinates, as well as participating in firm growth and management.
- Possess industry and technical expertise in accounting and tax theory and principles
- Demonstrate strong research and analytical abilities
- Exhibit proficiency in non-technical areas and seek opportunities to expand learning
Responsibilities
- Manage tax services across numerous engagements running simultaneously
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Provide leadership, direction, and coordination of resources and personnel

- Develop, coach, and supervise subordinates

Requirements
- CPA certification
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of operating systems
- Minimum 7–10 years of related experience
- Advanced degree preferred

Pay
Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $130,000 and $170,000. Additionally, discretionary year-end bonuses are offered to supplement the compensation package.
