Job Details
- Overseeing and managing all tax operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
- Providing tax planning services for high net worth individuals and corporations, identifying potential tax credits and liabilities, and ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
- Leading and managing a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Continually reviewing and updating company tax strategies in response to changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial and tax planning advice and to ensure integration of tax considerations into company-wide decision making.
- Conducting complex tax research and preparing reports on findings for senior management.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on tax-related matters.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior tax management role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
- Extensive experience working with high net worth individuals and corporations, with a deep understanding of the unique tax considerations associated with these clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful, strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues and disputes effectively and efficiently.
- Proficient in tax software and technology, with a strong understanding of the latest tax tools and resources.

Salary
$120,000 - $150,000 per year
