The Role We’re looking for a talented and motivated Tax Senior to join a fast-growing, innovative professional advisory firm working with individuals and closely held businesses. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, entrepreneurial CPA with a team mentality and strong technical accounting and tax knowledge. You will primarily be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex individual tax returns and coordinating directly with client support staff. Responsibilities Prepare or reviewindividual tax returns depending on client complexityReview tax information supplied by the client and obtain open items if necessaryAssist in ongoing tax planning and tax projections in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leadersCommunicate efficiently and effectively with our team on client issues that ariseEnsure deliverable deadlines are metResearch tax law updatesResearch tax issues, provide recommendations to the team, and ensure compliance with regulations Requirements 3+ years with a public accounting firm preparing and reviewing individual and business income tax returnsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldStrong attention to detailIntegrity within a professional environment Preferences Experience with CCH Axcess tax, CCH Pfx Engagement, and QuickBooksActive CPA or EA Location At TSS, we’ve designed a flexible work structure that enables both teamwork and independence, enhancing our employees’ work experience while promoting personal well-being.
