Tax Senior

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of a Senior, Manager, and/or Partner
• Possesses knowledge of tax regulations to answer clients' questions
• Prepares personal, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp returns of increasing complexity
• Responds to tax notices and prepares initial drafts of letters required
• Performs tax research projects requiring minimal expertise
• Prepares tax accruals as may be required in preparing corporate tax returns
• Begins to demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
• Mets time constraints and client deadlines
• Participates in tax planning and projections
• Begins acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university
• Two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active CPA License is a plus, candidates pursuing certification are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Software proficiency (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
