About the role
We are a well-established public accounting firm based in Boca Raton, known for delivering high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to a diverse client base. We're growing and looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our collaborative and client-focused team.
What You'll Do
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and C-corps
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Identify tax planning opportunities and support year-round advisory services
- Mentor and review work of junior staff
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of public accounting tax preparing experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance
- Experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
