Tax Senior Associate [Financial Services]
About the role
CohnReznick is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Financial Services Group in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm, preferably in Financial Services, and a Bachelor’s Degree with CPA licensure achieved or eligible.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team to meet various department deadlines throughout the year
- Prepare the following types of tax returns: business tax returns including 1120, 1120-S & 1065; experience with tax provision preferred
- Aid in the process and review of tax returns
- Conduct various financial analysis including but not limited to balance sheets and income statements
- Be proficient in using various department software platforms
- Handle ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
- Financial Services Experience preferred
- Heavy Partnership Experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $115,000 in California, with salary determination varying based on factors such as geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Schedule
