Tax Reviewer

Key Responsibilities

• Review individual, partnership, corporation, and S-corporation tax returns.
• Serve as the tax subject matter expert.
• Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Support tax planning, audits, and advisory projects.
• Prepare business and individual tax returns as needed.
• Coach and mentor tax preparers.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience with tax return review.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Lacerte and QuickBooks preferred.
