Tax Professional - Retail

Role Overview: This position involves serving as a dedicated retail tax expert at a TurboTax location, providing in-person tax assistance, advice, and software support to customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate simple to complex tax situations, optimize deductions, and plan for the future. Additionally, you will serve as a community ambassador, engaging prospects, fostering long-term relationships, and promoting the brand through local marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities Offer hands-on tax preparation, advice, and reviews, utilizing professional tools and resources.Create an exceptional customer experience by understanding client needs and building trust.Engage with the community by representing TurboTax, generating leads, and supporting local marketing initiatives.Build and maintain long-term client relationships, contributing to community prosperity. Qualifications & Skills Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, including filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Strong knowledge of tax law and familiarity with Circular 230.Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and ability to obtain necessary state licenses.Comfortable working onsite, in a retail environment, with excellent communication skills.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused attitude, and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools.
