Tax Principal

Job Description

Withum’s Tax Services Group is comprised of tax specialists dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting and minimizing or deferring tax payments. They provide comprehensive tax strategies across international, US federal, state, and local regulations, including Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, and International and Private Client services.

Responsibilities

• Achieve booked revenue within a defined range annually.
• Manage and grow a team, including developing and executing a national business development strategy.
• Coordinate with regional and national leadership to define and implement market strategies.
• Create and deploy processes to ensure the firm and its team members achieve their goals efficiently.
• Lead thought leadership initiatives, providing insights into the tax landscape and devising competitive strategies.
• Hire and train top talent, and create processes for team accountability and success.
• Contribute to national and regional leadership meetings, offering perspectives and addressing challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA license, JD, or Master’s in Science in Taxation
• Minimum of 15+ years of professional services sales experience
• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience
• Demonstrated strategic leadership in defining market opportunities and creating plans.
• Experience in process creation and training team members on best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to lead meetings and presentations.
• Experience in managing projects and meeting deadlines.
• Tangible experience in formal sales processes and their deployment.

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
