Tax Partner - UHNW

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary tax advisor for ultra-high net worth families with over $100M in assets
• Develop tailored, multi-year tax strategies aligned with family goals and structures
• Manage a specialized team of tax professionals focused on UHNW clients
• Identify tax opportunities and risks related to various financial situations and transactions
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with the families' CPA firms when necessary
• Lead the response to federal and state tax examinations and disputes
• Collaborate closely with wealth advisors to provide integrated tax strategies

Qualifications

• CPA license required; advanced degree in taxation (MST/LL.M.), law degree, or comparable credential preferred
• 12-15 years of progressive tax experience with a focus on $100M+ families
• Deep knowledge of complex taxation strategies for ultra-high net worth clients
• Proven experience with international tax issues and cross-border planning
• Familiarity with handling significant tax notices and controversies
• Experience in advising on business succession and wealth transfer matters
• Strong leadership skills to guide a team of tax professionals

Pay

$250,000 – $400,000 annually
