About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager in the Merger and Acquisition Tax team. The role involves providing tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. Key responsibilities include managing client service accounts, leading engagement workstreams, supervising and mentoring teams, and leveraging technology and innovative methods to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in tax services
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study
  • Experience in partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions
  • Proficiency in partnership taxation and qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Advanced technical writing and reviewing skills
  • Ability to develop and sustain meaningful client relationships
  • Experience in defining resource requirements and project workflow
  • Proven leadership in establishing direction and motivating team members
  • Familiarity with CRM systems

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.

The role is available in multiple locations including San Francisco, Irvine, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York, Dallas, Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Phoenix.
