Tax Manager | HYBRID I $130k-$175kWe are looking for a high-level Tax Manager to lead compliance, reporting, and strategy for a diverse portfolio of corporate and pass-through clients. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Compliance: Manage and review federal, state, and local filings for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and HNWIs (1040s/1041s).Tax Strategy: Coordinate ASC 740 tax provisions and implement planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing performance feedback and workflow management.Audit Defense: Act as the primary contact for tax notices, examinations, and audits.Process Innovation: Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency in tax reporting and internal controls.QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.Credentials: CPA highly preferred (or strongly tracking).Software: Proficiency with CCH, UltraTax, or similar tax platforms.Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex engagements and mentor junior staff.
